About the role

This position is located in Coon Rapids, MN and involves respiratory and neuro diagnostics work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas interpretation, aerosol setup, intubation assist, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
• Administer medications and treatments including albuterol, atrovent, bi-pap, combivent, cpap, emergency department medications, fluolan, inhaled steroids, metered dose inhalers, mucomyst, nebulizers, sputum specimen collection, and ventilator management.
• Assist with patient care including airway management, suctioning, and trach collar care.
• Provide troubleshooting and weaning assistance from mechanical ventilation.
• Interpret and document patient data accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in adult critical care.
• Current certifications: ACLS, CRT, NRP, PALS.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Skills

• Knowledge of adult critical care, aerosol set up, and various respiratory and neurological interventions.
• Ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and perform various airway management techniques.
• Proficiency in using equipment such as spirometers, pulse oximeters, and ventilators.

Pay

$2,128.36 to $2,321.68 weekly.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shift: 18:45 - 07:15.
