Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to sick and premature infants
- Monitor vital signs
- Administer specialized feedings
- Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, and manage arterial and intravenous therapies
- Operate and monitor equipment such as incubators and ventilators
- Assist in caring for infants transitioning to extrauterine life
- Offer emotional support and guidance to parents
- Ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform neonatal assessments and interventions
- Monitor and adjust medical equipment
- Support parental involvement and education
- Ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 10-20 pounds
- May require additional certifications
Schedule
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
