Travel NICU RN - $2,526 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington. The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a start date of November 16, 2026, lasting 13 weeks at 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts). Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments and utilize critical thinking effectively under supervision. The NICU Registered Nurse will perform according to nursing standards, manage patient care, and assist others in managing patient care. Specific duties include:

• Providing direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Working in the NICU with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assisting in developing and implementing a plan of care for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN license.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.
