Travel NICU RN - $2,523 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Level III NICU position in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a 13‑week contract starting 10/05/2026, requiring 36 hours per week on night shifts (three 12‑hour shifts from 19:00‑07:30).

Responsibilities

• Provide general NICU care including developmental care, patient/family teaching, and isolation precautions.
• Monitor and assess patients for changes in condition and implement care plans as needed.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products per protocol.
• Support breastfeeding and manage nutritional feeding plans (breast, bottle, gavage).
• Utilize advanced respiratory support techniques such as CPAP, HFNC, and ECMO.
• Participate in sepsis workup and other critical care assessments and interventions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience.
• Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP; PALS preferred.
• Experience with ventilator management, IV starts, and neonatal dosing calculations.

Skills
