ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in New Brunswick, New Jersey. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level III NICU experience to provide exceptional care for critically ill neonates. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in neonatal nursing and be adept at managing complex medical conditions in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and developmental care to critically ill neonates
• Execute phlebotomy, BG monitoring, and thermoregulation protocols
• Administer medications, including anti-seizure, antibiotics, steroids, and vasopressors
• Support breastfeeding and handle breast milk according to best practices
• Perform respiratory interventions such as bubble CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management
• Engage in patient/family teaching and provide emotional support
• Assist in NICU procedures, including IV starts/maintenance and central line management
• Document care in EPIC accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• 2+ years of current Level III NICU experience required
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP; PALS preferred

Schedule

• 13-week contract position
• Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
