About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains standards of practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope, and Standards of Practice, and Nursing's Social Policy Statement. The RN actualizes the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures of the healthcare facility. This role involves participation in performance improvement and research activities while maintaining professional practice standards and clinical expertise. Leadership skills and core competencies will be demonstrated based on the patient population served.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols

Requirements
- Level III or higher NICU experience
- Current New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
