Travel NICU RN - $2,194 per week

About the role

Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel - (NICU RN) for a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. StartDate: ASAP. Shifts: 12 N. Assignment is in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill and premature newborns in a specialized hospital unit.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with neonatologists and respiratory therapists to stabilize infants.
• Support families of infants in the NICU.
• Float within New Life Center or to outside NICU units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license or a compact license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year of recent neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience (Level III experience specifically noted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Competency in: Bubble CPAP, Vents, umbilical lines, PIVS, arterial sticks, peripheral blood draws, heel sticks, neonatal resuscitation, strong assessment.
• RN perm address must be over 50 miles away from assignment.
• References: 1 Reference in entire work history.
