Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Certifications & Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty (preferred to be within one location)
- License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Reference: One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required; must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months
- Vaccines: COVID-19 and Flu required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Drug Screen: Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) required within 12 months of start; must be updated annually
- BCI/FBI Prints: Must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
Facility & Compliance Notes
- Trauma Level: Facility specific
- Nicotine Policy: Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements; all other travelers must be nicotine free
- Permanent/PER DIEM Restriction: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
- Orientation Assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate required during orientation; two attempts allowed to pass
- Annual Hands-On Competency: Required for nurses on continuous contracts of 1 year or returning in the subsequent calendar year
- Modules: Average 6–15 hours of modules completed pre-start and annually; 4 hours are billable
