About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care unit in Lubbock, Texas. This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension based on performance and unit needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Educate families and provide emotional support.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (Epic).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, preferably in a Level III or IV setting.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Active compact RN license required at the time of submission.
Qualifications
The role requires advanced nursing skills and knowledge to support critically ill patients and their families in a Level III NICU setting.
Schedule
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend shifts required, self-scheduled.
