About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in a Level 3 or Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to premature and critically ill infants, participating in special procedures and advanced neonatal interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for infants with varying degrees of illness, including premature (as early as 22 weeks) and surgical infants.
- Monitor and manage ventilatory support and administer medications as prescribed.
- Participate in special procedures such as therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide therapy, and central line care.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage patient charting using EPIC and other clinical systems.
- Handle family communications and support, providing education and resources as needed.
- Must be open to floating within the facility as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Level 3 or Level 4 NICU is required.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Experience with ventilators and high-risk deliveries is preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
