About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a seasonal travel assignment in the Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a North Austin, TX facility. This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU
- Monitor and assess patient condition and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
- Assist with procedures and technologies used in the NICU
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- BLS certification
