Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist - $2,467 per week

About the Role

Travel Respiratory Therapist position in the NICU at a facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting November 9, 2026, with 36 hours per week on night shift (three 12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM). Every other weekend required; no on-call duties. The therapist may float within the same discipline across local campuses. Epic EMR experience preferred. Winter holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving). Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods (November 26–30 and December 23–January 2). Candidates must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care exclusively in the NICU (no adult patients)
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care
• Work night shifts (12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend required
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous NICU Respiratory Therapy experience
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract
• Active Wisconsin state license (compact license accepted)
• Driver's license or proof of permanent residency
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date
• Copies of required certifications
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract
