Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,696 per week
About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Urbana, Illinois. NICU nurses provide care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, you'll work under the direction of a physician, caring for the newborn, and helping to educate parents.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess infants with critical medical conditions
- Work under physician direction to administer treatments and therapies
- Educate and support parents of NICU patients
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Specialty in NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week for the duration of the 13-week contract
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional compensation includes:
- $600 travel bonus
- Extra hour bonus for working over contracted weekly hours
- Guaranteed stipend if facility calls you off
