Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,465 per week

About the role

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is a travel assignment in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level III, 22-bed NICU unit within a Magnet-recognized healthcare facility. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), with a schedule including every third weekend and scheduled holidays outside of requested time off.

The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity, and charting is preferred via EPIC. Floating to the pediatric unit is required as census dictates. Candidates should be social, resilient, and adaptable to change. Uniforms consist of professional scrubs, and the jewelry policy permits a single small nose stud. Flu vaccination is mandatory; COVID vaccination is no longer required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with a rotating schedule, including every third weekend and holidays.
• Float to the pediatric unit as needed based on census.

Requirements

• Wisconsin or compact RN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN (NICU level III or level IV experience preferred).
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Duration: 6 weeks.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
• Rotating schedule: every third weekend and scheduled holidays outside of requested time off.
