Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $1,935 per week

Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN opportunity available in Austin, Texas involves providing specialized care within a level 3 NICU on the sixth and seventh floors of a newly expanded Women's Tower. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a private-room environment, with a focus on neonates. The shift is scheduled for nights, with an anticipated start date of 08/09/2026.

Job Details

• Location: Austin, Texas

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing

• At least 1 year of experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

• Valid Texas RN license

• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU certification

• 1-2 years of NICU experience

Additional Information

• The NICU is a level 3 unit with 84 beds across two floors, primarily serving a census in the mid 40s to 50s.

• Staff includes charge nurses, resource nurses, patient care technicians, and milk technicians.

• No floating responsibilities.

• Navy blue scrubs are required.

• EMR system used is Cerner.
