Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $1,935 per week
Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN opportunity available in Austin, Texas involves providing specialized care within a level 3 NICU on the sixth and seventh floors of a newly expanded Women's Tower. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a private-room environment, with a focus on neonates. The shift is scheduled for nights, with an anticipated start date of 08/09/2026.

Location: Austin, Texas
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing
At least 1 year of experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Valid Texas RN license
Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system
Preferred Qualifications
NICU certification
1-2 years of NICU experience
Additional Information
The NICU is a level 3 unit with 84 beds across two floors, primarily serving a census in the mid 40s to 50s.
Staff includes charge nurses, resource nurses, patient care technicians, and milk technicians.
No floating responsibilities.
Navy blue scrubs are required.
EMR system used is Cerner.
