Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Denver, Colorado involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties within the scope of practice as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating neonatal patient care
- Providing health education and counseling
- Executing delegated medical functions
- Ensuring documentation complies with regulatory standards
- Floating to other departments within scope
- Might be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
- ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- BLS - American Heart Association
- No minimum experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree of Nursing
- Certification as appropriate for the neonatal unit or service is preferred

- May be required to float to other departments based on business need

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
