Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Maternal - Newborn for a 8-week assignment in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for mothers and newborns in a Maternal - Newborn unit
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care activities accurately
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in Maternal - Newborn care preferred
• Knowledge of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) protocols
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN
