About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel EEG Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Edison, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG procedures
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Work shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5x8 hours, with weekends and holidays as needed
- Occasional on-call requirements
Requirements
- At least 1 year of EEG tech experience in acute care hospitals
- Associate Degree in Neurodiagnostic or equivalent
- AHA BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient EEG settings
Skills
- Proficiency in EEG equipment operation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
