Travel EEG Technologist, Neurology - $1,510 per week

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel EEG Technologist for a position in Tucson, Arizona. The start date is July 27, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients, obtain relevant medical histories, and ensure patient comfort.
• Apply electrodes to patients' scalps, operate EEG equipment, and monitor brain wave activity during tests.
• Record test results, identify and eliminate artifacts, and prepare data for physician interpretation.
• Ensure EEG equipment is properly calibrated and functioning, and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to discuss findings and assist in patient care planning.

Requirements

• As of now, there are no universal state licensing requirements for EEG technicians in the United States.
• States like New Jersey and Louisiana require licensure for technologists performing polysomnography studies.
• Certification Preferences: While states such as Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin do not mandate licensure for EEG technologists, professional certification through organizations like ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) is preferred or may be required by employers.

Pay
