Travel Neuro Stepdown RN - $2,320 per week

About the role

Join our Neuro Stepdown and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) team, where you will care for a variety of higher acuity neuroscience patients. This role requires a strong background in neuro nursing and involves the management of patients post-craniotomy, patients with strokes, seizures, and those under epilepsy monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown and EMU settings.
• Monitor and assess neurological status of patients, implementing NIHSS protocols.
• Titrate drips as ordered under physician supervision, primarily in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain patient safety and promote optimal patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the relevant state.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong neuro experience with a focus on stroke and seizure management.
• Experience with EVDs is preferred.
