Travel Neuro Stepdown RN - $2,318 per week

About the Role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role focuses on providing specialized neuro nursing care in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Neuroscience units.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neuro nursing care to patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Neuroscience units.
• Titrate titratable and set rate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, dopamine, Nipride, Ketamine, Lasix, Bumex, and Insulin under physician orders.
• Manage high-acuity neuroscience patients including stroke and seizure patients.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and physicians to monitor and adjust vent settings as required.
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and assist in maintaining patient safety and quality care standards.

Requirements

• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong neuro experience and NIHSS certification must be in hand at time of submission.
• Experience caring for stroke patients and implementing NIH protocols.
• Qualified for Stepdown/IMC/PCU units.
• EPIC experience.

Pay

Pay range: $2,218.36 - $2,329.28 per week.

Schedule

• 13-week contract.
• 36 hours per week.
• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
