Travel Neuro Stepdown RN - $2,211 per week

About the role

Join our dynamic team in the Neuro Stepdown and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with higher acuity neuroscience conditions. You will work in a 31-bed unit that includes 25 stepdown beds and 6 for epilepsy monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Care for higher acuity patients suffering from strokes, seizures, and post-operative conditions.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients’ health status and coordinate with physicians regarding treatment necessary.
• Participate in unit activities and assist with orientation for new staff as required.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong neuro experience and a history of caring for stroke patients.
• EPIC experience is required.
