Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit. Discipline: RN. Start Date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, nights. Employment Type: Travel. We are seeking a qualified Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse for a critical role in our Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. This position requires a dedicated professional with strong neuro experience to care for higher acuity neuroscience patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and administering care to patients with complex neurological conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in their health status.
• Administer medications and manage patient treatment plans as per established protocols.
• Implement and maintain effective communication with the healthcare team and families.
• Manage and titrate medications and IV drips under physician’s orders.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document care accurately in the EPIC system.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS
