Travel Neuro Stepdown RN - $2,211 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in the Neuroscience Inpatient Step Down Unit at a facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role focuses on caring for higher acuity neuroscience patients, including stroke, seizures, and post-operative craniotomy patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down setting.
• Manage patient care for neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and post-operative care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatments.
• Implement and oversee care plans in accordance with physician's orders.
• Conduct NIHSS assessments and other necessary evaluations.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Manage EVDs and follow titration protocols as directed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (required); ACLS (preferred).
• Significant neuro nursing experience, particularly with stroke patients.
• Experience with EVD management (preferred but not mandatory).
• Comfort with titration protocols.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
• Weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Pay
