About the Role
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 20, 2026. Shift: 12H Nights. Total Weekly Hours: 36.
Required Certifications
- BLS – required
- NIHSS – required (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ACLS – preferred
Required Experience and Skills
- EPIC experience required
- Overall strong Neuro experience
- History of caring for stroke patients and implementing NIHSS
- Experience with higher acuity Neuroscience patients
- EVD experience preferred
Nursing Specifics
- Charge Nurse available 24/7
- Nurse Aids: Yes, 4 per shift with ratios of 1:8-9
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 3x12's from 7p-7:30a, every other weekend, and holidays in rotation
Other Requirements
- License to submit required
- BSN not required
- COVID vaccination: Must have either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J, unless a Medical or Religious exemption is approved through a council
- Trauma Level: Level 1
