Travel Neuro MedSurg RN - $2,085 per week
About the role
The Neuro Unit consists of 20 beds and provides care for patients with various neurological disorders including strokes, seizures, and post-operative spine cases. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients on the Neuro Unit, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Document patient care activities in the EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
- Manage various intravenous infusions and maintain telemetry monitoring as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN License required.
- BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications are mandatory, ACLS preferred.
- Recent experience in neurosciences and proficiency with G-tubes is essential.
- Recent EPIC experience is required.
- Must have strong neuro nursing experience and skills in patient assessment and care.
