About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Neuro Medical Surgical unit. The role involves monitoring and managing patient conditions, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status.
- Assist with basic activities of daily living.
- Educate patients and families on health management.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- 2+ years of experience in a Neuro Medical Surgical setting preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification and Swallow Screen competency preferred.
