About the role
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 6 weeks. Employment type: Travel. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a busy Neuro ICU. Candidates must be trained in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and must possess a strong background in critical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans.
- Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in a Neuro ICU or similar environment.
- CRRT training is required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is mandatory.
- Flexibility with scheduling is essential, including weekends and open availability for floating to different units as needed.
Schedule
- 12‑hour shifts, flexible.
- 48 hours per week.
