About the role
The Hospital Intensive Care Unit Neurological specialty is seeking a highly qualified neuro critical care nurse for a rotating shift position. The role involves providing specialized bedside care to neurology and neurovascular patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to support patients with complex neurological needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized bedside care to neurology and neurovascular patients
- Float to additional neuro ICU floors as needed
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license
- One or more years of related work experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to navigate web-based applications
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Must be separated from current facility for at least six months if previously employed there
- No local travelers will be accepted
Qualifications
Preferred: ACLS certification
Schedule
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Orientation sessions scheduled weekly, typically on Mondays
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Parking may cost up to $43 per day.
