Travel Neuro ICU RN - $2,455 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Neuro ICU assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The assignment starts October 12, 2026 and lasts approximately 13.14 weeks (13 weeks). It is a travel position requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Neuro ICU.
• Manage ventilators, arteriolar lines, central lines, and ventriculostomy devices.
• Administer tPA (tissue plasminogen activator) and oversee acute stroke management.
• Provide post‑craniectomy care.
• Titrate medication drips as required.
• Troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment.
• Read and interpret cardiac and neurologic strips.
• Maintain a 1:2 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
• BSN is not required.
• Provide last four digits of SSN and middle initial.
• Submit requested time off information.
• Acknowledge OSF is a drug‑free campus and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
