ICU Neuro (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) Nurse - Location: Unknown. This position involves providing specialized neurological critical care to patients with complex, acute neurological conditions. Responsibilities

• Pass an ECG exam on day 2.
• Manage patients with diagnoses including stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, brain tumors, cerebral edema, hydrocephalus, respiratory failure, sepsis, pneumonia, ARDS, COPD, asthma exacerbation, heart failure, AKI, DKA, HHS, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver failure, and severe electrolyte abnormalities.
• Titrate drips including Norepinephrine (Levophed), Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Phenylephrine (Neo‑Synephrine), and Dopamine, with tech support on unit.
• Use mechanical ventilators, high‑flow nasal cannula, and noninvasive ventilation.
• Read own cardiac strips; tele/monitor techs are not present on the unit (tele monitors are Phillips brand).
• Adhere to holiday scheduling: one major and one minor holiday per year (e.g., Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day).
• Wear navy blue scrubs.
• May float to MSICU, PCCU, and units with boarders.
• Benefit from hospital policies: cancellation privileges without penalty and Epic electronic health record access.
