About the role

We are seeking an experienced Trauma Intensive Care Unit Nurse to provide high-level care for neurotrauma patients in a specialized critical care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with trauma, acute care settings, and proficiency in Cerner charting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage and monitor critical patients using advanced medical technology.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in training and orientation sessions for new staff and assist in their integration.

Requirements

• 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred; Level I experience is a plus.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Cerner charting experience is mandatory.
• Must hold a PA or compact nursing license.

Qualifications

Experience in a critical care setting, specifically in Trauma Intensive Care Units, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Cerner charting is essential.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
