Travel Neuro ICU RN - $1,836 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for a travel nursing assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the role

This 13-week assignment begins on August 31, 2026, with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts. The role is ideal for an experienced Neuro ICU RN with a strong critical care background.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit
• Manage ventilated patients, including vent settings and weaning
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Care for patients with CVA/acute stroke, post neurosurgery, and external ventricular drains (EVD)
• Monitor intracranial pressure (ICP) and manage lumbar drains
• Administer continuous IV sedation
• Follow isolation precautions and use PPE appropriately
• Manage arterial lines (preferred)
• Float within or near the facility as required
• Complete required modules and pass EKG testing prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience (no exceptions)
• Must have prior travel nursing experience (not a first-time traveler)
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• North Carolina or compact nursing license (pending OK for submittal)
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay may differ and is subject to change during the assignment.
