• CVA/Acute Stroke management
• Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
• ICP monitoring
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Lumbar drains
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Neuro Intensive Care Unit
• Post Neurosurgery management
• Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring*
• Starting and maintaining IVs*
• Titrating Cardiac drips
• Titrating Vasoactive drips
• Traumatic Brain injury
• Ventilator Management*

Qualifications

• Local candidates (50 miles): Lower rate applies.
• RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during the first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing.
• NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal.
• Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description.
• Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed).

• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
• Orientation: 24 hrs
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Covid-19 Vaccine: Not Required
• Flu Vaccine: Required
