Travel MS/Telemetry RN - $2,085 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. The assignment requires 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule (07:00 - 19:00), 3x12-hour shifts. Call is required; you must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour when called. Flexibility to float to other campuses is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and implement rapid response or code team protocols when required.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE usage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in Medical-Surgical in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Knowledge of medication scanning is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Travel experience is preferred; new travelers are not accepted.
• Valid state RN license is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
