Travel MS/Tele RN - $2,569 per week

TotalMed RN is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that matches clinicians with facilities nationwide. They are seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for an assignment in Salem, Oregon. The position lasts 13 weeks, requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and calls for 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. As a TELE Travel Nurse you will monitor patients via telemetry equipment and provide bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Active BLS certification.
• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience.
• Ability to meet the physical demands (standing/walking, lifting, vision) outlined above.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
