ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Canton, Ohio. Start date: 11/13/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; shift: 12‑hour days; employment type: travel. The role requires an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Med Surg / Telemetry, exceptional clinical skills, and patient care capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and their families about health conditions and preventive care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months combined permanent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
• Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification to be obtained prior to start.
• Proven experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Schedule

This is a day shift position covering 3‑12 hour shifts from 07:00‑19:30. Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.
