Travel MS/Tele RN - $1,862 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Kingwood, West Virginia. Start date 10/19/2026, 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week (4×12‑hour night shifts, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, weekdays and every other weekend). Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting with a patient‑to‑nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and charting utilizing Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with a strong background in telemetry.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or a Compact License.
• Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Experience in travel nursing is a plus (not required).
• Must be flexible to float to other units, including ICU, as needed.

Qualifications

Expertise in acute care and telemetry; experience with pediatric and adolescent patient care; ability to work in a 70‑bed rural facility; familiarity with house supervisor support structure.
