About the role

13-week assignment in Maryville, IL for a Med/Surg-Telemetry Registered Nurse. Shift: 3 days per week, 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). 1 opening available with a start date of 08/24/2026. Charting system: Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Blood Product Administration
• Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac management
• Colostomy/ileostomy management and care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin administration
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Med/Surg and Telemetry (MS/Tele) care
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration/tanks
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Peripheral nerve block catheters
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Pre/Post neurosurgery care
• Renal failure management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains management
• Telemetry monitoring (on-unit)
• Total joint replacement care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred

• Patient Ratios: 5-7 (Nights and Weekends)
• Charting Experience: Required

Pay

$2,120 to $2,313 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
