About the Role

This is a travel assignment at an acute care hospital with the following details:

• 20-week assignment
• Night shift: 4 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• 1 opening available
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• Charting system: Epic

• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin Protocols
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Manage Cardiac drips (no titration)
• Management of dysrhythmias
• MS/Tele monitoring
• Nasal Cannula
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oxygen administration and tank management
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Pre/Post neurosurgery care, including epidural analgesia and peripheral nerve block catheters
• Substance Withdrawal management
• Renal failure care
• Seizure disorder management
• Spinal cord injury care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drain management
• Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Thrombolytic Agents
• Titration of Insulin drips
• Total joint replacement care
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Traumatic Brain Injury care
• TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Travel experience required
