Aya Healthcare offers an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Potsdam, NY. This is a travel assignment with a 13-week duration, night shifts, and a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) per week.

Pay

$2,208 to $2,401 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

• Blood Product Administration
• Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac management
• Care for patients with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
• Heparin Protocols
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) care
• Nasal Cannula management
• Non-invasive airway management
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Care for patients with seizure disorders
• Surgical drains management
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Substance Withdrawal management

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
