Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x 12-hour shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• Patient ratios: 4.8 on nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Bariatric surgery care
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Epidural analgesia management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin protocol administration
• MS/Tele unit nursing
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration/tank management
• Non-invasive airway management
• Orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement care
• Patient-Controlled Analgesia (PCA) management
• Peripheral line care/management
• Peripheral nerve block catheter care
• Pre/post hemodialysis management
• Skin graft care
• Surgical drain management
• Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) care
• Rapid Response/Code team participation
• Blood product administration
• Central line care/management
• Interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
• PICC line management
• IV initiation and maintenance
• Telemetry (remote monitoring)

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification
• Active LA state license or Compact License
• Travel experience required
