About the Role

This is a travel assignment at an acute care hospital with the following details:

• Assignment length: 17 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Openings: 1
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• Charting system: Epic
• Facility bed count: 310
• Patient ratios: 5 patients per nurse on nights and weekends

Responsibilities

As an MS/Tele Registered Nurse, you will perform duties including but not limited to:

• Blood product administration
• Insulin administration
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE usage
• Central line blood draws
• Heparin administration
• Oral suctioning
• Orthopedic trauma care
• Oxygen administration
• Peripheral line care and management
• PICC line management
• Pre- and post-neurosurgery care
• Renal failure management
• Spinal cord injury care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drain management
• Telemetry and remote monitoring
• Total joint replacement care
• Use of rapid response and code teams
• Wound care and wound vac management
• Nasal cannula usage

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active VA license or Compact License (quick license state with application process taking 2 weeks or less)
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,034 to $2,212, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
