Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Make $2,002.72 to $2,196.04 weekly

About the role

This is a 13-week assignment with night shifts (3x 12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:30) at an acute care hospital with 310 beds. The facility uses Epic for charting, and a compact or Virginia nursing license is required (quick license states accepted).

Pay

$2,002 to $2,196 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• 3x 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Patient ratios: 7 patients per nurse on nights and weekends

• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin Protocols
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Management of dysrhythmias
• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Renal failure care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains management
• Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification
• Active VA nursing license or compact license (quick license state—application process takes 2 weeks or less)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
