About the role

This is a 13-week assignment with a shift from 07:00 to 19:30, 3 days a week (12-hour shifts). The position is located in an acute care hospital with 320 beds and a Level 2 trauma designation. Patient ratios are 2:1 for both days and nights.

Pay

$1,685 to $1,915 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

  • 13-week assignment
  • 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • MT License or Compact License
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with Cerner charting system
  • Skills in the following areas:
    • Accessing/Managing Ports
    • Aneurysms and repair
    • BiPAP/CPAP management
    • Blood Product Administration
    • Central line care/management
    • Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
    • Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
    • CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
    • ER Holding
    • Feeding tube care and management
    • Heparin Protocols
    • Isolation Precautions/PPE
    • MS/Tele
    • Nasal Cannula
    • Non-invasive airway management
    • Ortho trauma
    • Oxygen administration
    • Oxygen tanks

    • Peripheral Line Care/Management
    • Peripheral nerve block catheters
    • PICC line management
    • Pre/Post Cardiac Cath

  • Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
