Travel MRI Technologist I - $3,032 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position requires 40 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 0630-1700, including 1 week of call per 5 weeks. Pediatric experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, and medical terminology.
• Position patients accurately and adhere to medical ethics.
• Work as part of a team, follow instructions, and maintain consistent attendance.
• Address patients' physical and psychological needs with sensitivity.
• Maintain accurate records and handle names, numbers, and codes precisely.
• Draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
• Exercise discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
• Multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Understand and apply various operations, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrate initiative, effort, and efficiency in completing assignments.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Apply core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy, physiology, and relevant technologies.
• Perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty or graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification (to be achieved within 12 months of hire date).
• AHA BLS certification.
• Pediatric experience.

• Associate’s degree or higher.
