Responsibilities
- Prepare MRI room, ensure equipment functionality, and maintain supplies.
- Check and document patient histories and exam details for radiologist interpretation.
- Operate MRI equipment by adjusting TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and field of view to produce high-quality images.
- Administer venipuncture safely and effectively.
- Ensure patient safety by screening for metal objects and implants before entering the MRI room.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of MRI equipment operation and imaging protocols.
- Attention to detail and patient safety focus.
- Ability to prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting and patient interaction.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to MRI procedures.
