About the role
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate magnetic resonance imaging scanners, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Screen patients for safety prior to MRI procedures
- Administer contrast media as required
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
- Monitor image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
Requirements
- Completion of a radiology program with MRI specialization
- At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Valid radiology and/or MRI licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Preferred certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
