Travel MRI Technologist - $2,935 per week
Job Summary
The organization is seeking an MRI Technologist for an inpatient MRI position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation. The technologist will also orient physicians, staff, and students on MRI procedures and safety protocols, and assist nursing staff with medication documentation as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification with current registration
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- At least one year experience in an imaging modality
- Prior hospital experience is preferred
- Experience with Siemens MRI machines is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior training or internship experience in magnetic resonance imaging
Additional Information
- Perform and document MRI scans following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with medical staff and patients
