Travel MRI Technologist - $2,825 per week

About the role

MRI Technologist travel assignment at an outpatient facility in Yakima, Washington. The position involves performing MRI scans on diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and general cases. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment with scheduled devices and a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. Average of 25 patients per day. Competence in scanning a variety of patient types and diagnoses, including knees, spine, brain, and extremities. Must be comfortable working alone, with potential support from other staff. Peripheral IV starts and scheduled device management are required. EMR: EPIC. PACS: Phillips View. Float rotation may be required. No sedation required for procedures. Equipment includes GE floating devices, with facilities located within 5 to 10 minutes in outpatient settings. No on-call responsibilities; closed for major holidays. Scrub attire: any solid color, no graphics, logos, or designs. Responsibilities include assisting with device scheduling and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
• Washington state license (must be licensed in WA)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience

Schedule

Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Start date: 11/16/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Pay

Pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
